Changement de production: un moment clé en plasturgie
Certains sites de plasturgie "jonglent" couramment avec plusieurs centaines, voire plus d'un millier de moules différents. Leur niveau de productivité ne dépend pas seulement de la performance des machines, mais en grande partie avec la gestion des temps d'arrêt.

OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) : un facteur de compétitivité essentiel
L’OEE identifie le pourcentage de temps de fabrication réellement productif. Un score OEE de 100% signifie qu’une chaîne ne fabrique que de bonnes pièces (100% qualité), le plus rapidement possible (100% performance), sans temps d’arrêt (100% disponibilité).

Mesurer l’OEE permet d’identifier les pertes, de suivre les progrès et d’améliorer la productivité grâce à des solutions techniques mais aussi en  optimisant les process au sein de l’entreprise.

La recherche du meilleur OEE est une chasse aux temps d’arrêt à toutes les étapes de la production. En plasturgie, les changements de moules  représentent une étape clé. Si la durée de changement d’outils était nulle, une fabrication unitaire ne serait alors pas plus chère qu’une réalisation en série..
